Please also see the attached screenshots. When I activate a remote Emergency stop on a machine I sometimes (maybe every third time) get a HW error. The HW error can be reset without any corrections so it is only there a short time. As far as I understand the information in the screenshots It is because the time between getting the signal on channel 1 and getting the signal on channel 5 are is too long - is this correct? Should I increase the time on channel 1, channel 5 to 200 or perhaps 500 ms? What is the maximal permitted value? What is the default value? Should I increase the time on channel 0, channel 4 too? Thank you for answering Hati, Also thank you for the info about the 250 ms I might copy that for similar signals. Please see the attached screenshots. How are the detailed steps for modifying and downloading such a modification (also in a way that the PLC will go to the running state if the power is switched off and then back on? 1. Open the HW config. 2. Open the correct node (40) and module (with the address 750). 3. Modify the discrepancy time from 100 to 250 ms. Click on OK and on Close. 4. Click on the download icon in the toolbar and accept to download to the CPU (if correct) and accept the IP address (if correct). 5. Accept that the CPU will be stopped for the DL by clicking OK 6. Accept to restart the CPU after the DL by clicking Yes. 7. Close the HW config and accept to save the modifications to the project on the PG by clicking Yes. Are this all the necessary steps or should more be added (maybe something like compiling and downloading the safety logic even though that is not HW)?
