Hello rzmehdipour; This webpage resumes the basic steps preliminary to the creation of a PLC project, with examples and an accompanying video: https://accautomation.ca/five-steps-to-plc-program-development/ The first step, Define the Task, is the most crucial. You must "know" your process, study it, understand it, list all inputs (sensors, pushbuttons, switches), outputs (actuators) and control mechanisms (motors, pneumatic cylinders...), before you go on to the next step. Any item you miss or misunderstand at this stage will cost you later in terms of effort, replacement of modules or equipment, and will cause delays. Look at the article, come back if anything has to be clarified. For example, their selection of a sequence table for logic design (in step 3) only applies if you are working with a sequential process; sometimes a flow chart or state machine design will fit your process better. this will come with experience. Dear Daniel, Thank you very much. This site seems to have useful articles for beginners like me. In fact the system I'm working on is not a sequential one. It's a positioning device with four axes on which operator can move axes independently base on required situation. I know it's a simple automation problem but I don't have any previous similar experience so it's somehow complicated for me. Anyway I will take a look at this site and will ask questions it there were any. Thanks again Reza |
