Dear Daniel, We established the communication between yokogawa NFLP 121 and Siemens IM 153-1 with digital cards only but now our client need to add new Analog Input and Analog output cards we couldn't get any data by these two cards type , maybe the data type is the problem we didn't know ,whats is the best data type we can use in sycon configuration for AI Card (6ES7331-1KF01-0AB0) and AO Card (6ES7332-5HF00-0AB0) Regards, Saleh ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Saleh; Two important points here for you: - first these analog modules must be configured properly per channel (each has 8 channels, each must be set for the appropriate measurement type (current, voltage...). Use the parameter section of Sycon to set the parameters for each channel on these analog input and output modules. Then the module must be correctly wired, each channel according to the type of signal you are reading or writing out. Follow the wiring diagrams form the following manual, in the chapter Analog Modules: S7-300 Module Data https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/8859629
- next, when you setup these analog modules as part of your ET 200M station, Sycon will give them an address range that the Yokogawa master can use to read data in or write data out of these modules. There should be 16 bytes (8 words) reserved for each analog modules, 2 bytes (1 word) per channel. Each channel should use the Siemens modules analog range and transmitt it as an integer through Profibus.. The input module channels should show a value 0-26748 (if the measurement is within range), and you should write a value of 0-26748 to the analog output module channels to generate the output you need. Look at the tables in the chapter "Principles of analog modules" in the manual above for more details. You should also see the basics of the scaling you should do in your Yokogawa master, to transform these numeric values into engineering units (0-100%, gpm, ºC, m/s... ) that you need in your program.
