Hello fsgonzaga; When you mention a redundant plant, you mean one designed around a S7-400H redundant controller pair, correct? In that case, you can establish redundant connections to a WinCC PC using Fault-tolerant S7 connections; you would need one (or 2, depending on the degree or redundancy required by your project) CP 1613 or CP 1623 in the WinCC PC, and a Redconnect software license. If you choose not to configure redundant connections to your WinCC application, you can use a standard NIC and non-redundant connections, but you will have to switch connections manually when the redundant CPUs do a switchover Fault-tolerant S7 connections are explained on the following document, along with the procedures to configure and use them: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/16667714 Hope this helps, |

Hello Daniel, thanks for the fast reply! Thats right. It´s a pair of S7-400H. In this case you mentioned, its better to use one CP for each WinCC PC? Regards.
