When using a RAM memory card (or integrated RAM memory),the system must be battery-operated so as to back up the RAM memory card data and the data in the internal RAM if there is a power failure. Note this last paragraph: the RAM memory, whether integrated as you will be using, or on a RAM memory card, is battery-supported. As long as you have a functional battery in the power supply module you can power down the CPU and maintain the program and data loaded in RAM memory. thank you sir for good explain. i saw in a project that used internal memory and battery backup, and CPU doesn't have any BATTERY FAULT, but when we turn off the power , program lost and CPU will go to stop mode, i couldn't understand why. thank you |
