Hello Shshakil; There are 2 cases to consider here: 1. You are programming the S7-300 CPU with Step 7 v5.x (v5.6 is the latest version). Connecting to the WinCC v7.5 project is not difficult, you can use any available communication link from the WinCC v7.5 S7 Protocol Suite to link the WinCC tags to the S7-300 program. Establishing connection to your HMI is more touchy, as it can only be programmef with WinCC v1x from TIA Portal. The proposed solution is called a "Device Proxy" that virtually connects the CPU with the HMI program, and is explained in the following link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ao/en/view/73502293 2. You could also program the S7-300 CPU using Step 7 v1x Professional TOA Portal (now at v16), which makes connecting to WinCc v16 very easy for the HMI part of the project. Connecting with the WinCC v7.5 is the same work as in the first solution. These are general considerations that could be regined if you give us more details on the project, the programming softwares and versions, the networks available, and as much information as you can. For example, are you planning to use a KTP700 Basic DP, which would make a connection to the S7-300 very easy (it has an integrated DP Port) but for Ethernet you need an additional Ethernet processor CP 343-1. Hope this helps, |
