Dear Peter, thermocouples always needs a reference junction. If parameter is set to "fixed", the reference temperature is set to 0°C means you will need exactly this temperature at the connecting point. The easiest way is to use "internal reference junction" but therefore a baseunit with internal temperature sensor is needed.
