Has someone used a group display in the faceplate-icon on WinCC v7.5? The previous way to do that is not working as I would like it to work (and I'm convinced it should work that way). In WinCC 7.5 in the faceplate's properties we have a new group "User-defined tags" where we can make one structure tag and link all the internal dynamics with one line. It looks like the using of the PLC Data Type for the faceplate in TIA Portal. It is good to have one connection field instead of 5-10. I would like to go this way. But if I leave the CollectValue property without a tag then my group display would not be shown in the @AreaButtons.PDL (which is generated by the OS Project Editor).
— And if NO, then do you all agree that this solution should work? I am very confused because in Runtime I see that the group display changes states on the icon but it is not visible in the navigation area. And right after that when I connect a direct tag for the CollectValue property then the group display's state would appear near the Area Buttons. Please look at the attached screenshot and my video:youtu.be/aqtowbBeIhg P.S. Originally that video demonstrates how slow the faceplates are if their dynamization is made using the new Animation instrument. But that is another story. |
