Please also see the attached screenshots. I have used a standard pulse block (SFB3) 2 slightly different ways in the attached screenshots but neither of them are working. When I set a high signal on the "IN" pin I am expecting to get a high signal on the "Q" pin for as long as the time I have set on the "PT" pin. Both in both cases it does not happen. Hello xmnj; Have you made sure that the signal at input IN is a rising edge signal? See the following extract from the system and Standard Functions manual for S7-300/400: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/44240604 Hope this helps, |

Hello Daniel, Thank you for answering. If you look on the screenshot 1.jpg in the OP you can see some memory bits on the "IN" pin there are 6 in parallel and I watched one of them go green. I would call that a rising edge signal but is that wrong? If you look on the screenshot 2.jpg in the OP i was expecting the .Q signal to be activated for the 10 seconds I put as pulse time after activating the memory bit mentioned before - but the .Q signal was never activated? If you look on the screenshot 3.jpg in the OP you can se how I used the SFB3 block in a slightly different way. Again I watched the signal on the "IN" pin (and it was set in the previous network) but the memory bit on the "Q" pin (where I expected a 30s pulse) was never set?
