Hi Alessio1225 here's my take on this: You can configure and use up to 128 I/O Devices on this CPU and they can all be "active" at the same time forever and a day. If you though want to use your S7 program to reconfigure which I/O Devices are in use, you can only activate or deactivate up to 8 I/O devices at the same time. Machine builders for example may make use of this feature and THIS Link has more info on it. Presuming deactivating or activating I/O devices via the S7 program is not of interest to you, you can safely ignore the limit of 8. |
