Hello, Post title states system is 840D SL & you mentioned servo motor type 1FT5. Please note, 1FT5 series servo motors are not compatible with Sinamics drives i.e. 840D SL. Please refer SINAMICS, SIMOTICS: 1FT5 Servo Motors with SINAMICS Drives FAQ for more information. I think it must be 840D PL (power line) Please check NCU box & provide NCU MLFB number which will clear confusion/doubt. Now if you want to check servo motor encoder, you need to activate motor encoder. To do so, set Y axis MD 30200 = 1, so external scale feed back will not be in system, retain all other parameters as it is. In axis service menu [Press Dianosis > SERVICE DISPLAY > SERVICE AXIS > select AXIS + or - KEY to select appropriate axis] check Y axis measurement system 1 is active i.e. GREEN LED must be ON, if it is not you need to check system PLC ladder logic & set logic so that DB3X.DBX1.5 = 1 (here X = 1 or 2 or 3. I hope in your case it must be 2) means motor encoder feedback system is enabled. Then you can move the axis & check. If it works without any alarm, it means motor encoder is OK. If it trigers any alarm, you may revert with alarm details. It is always better to attach snap shot of alarm which will help in diagnosis of fault. HTH |
