I have an issue in adding a new device. I imported 7sj85 driver 7.50 and in adding the short code, I can't pass the step 4 communication configuration that says no configuration available. Install a device driver DDD for communication first.

Sometimes these messages in Siemens software can be frustrating, i understand.

But basically you have to trust them, take them literally, and act on them.

If DIGSI 5 is telling you that you must load DDD files for communication drivers before continuing the installation,  try locating these files and loading them, as requested... They are generally easy to find, searching the web,

For example: Googling DIGSI DDD files takes you here:

SIPROTEC 5 and DIGSI 5 Downloads - Digital Grid - Siemens

At the bottom of the available selections you will find Device Drivers for DIGSI-DDD.

I have solved this problem by installed Protocols in COM-DDD folder. Thanks to Amahrit and Mike J.

I solved the situation with:

--> Tools-->Import device drivers

--> import file: Protocols_FW-V07.54_CFG-V07.54_DDD-V07.54.ddd

and 

--> import file: Protocols_FW-V07.50_CFG-V07.50_DDD-V07.50.ddd
