Extract bit from Word in A8000 RTU using SICAM Device Manager

Hello,

I am configuring a SICAM CP8021 RTU to read data from other devices using modbus TCP. I would like to extract bit status for each bit (BOOL) in the word of a signal (eg: 16-bit UINT). This does not seem possible in the SICAM device manager (v3.01) or the Logic Editor.

I was hoping for a MOVE or COPY function block that would allow me to select the individual bits of a signal.

Can anybody assist please?

Thanks for suggestion, but A8000 does not make the bits within a word available to read separately within the logic editor (eg: TAG.bit1; TAG.bit2 etc).

However I have found that I can read the bits of a word direct in the signals table when configuring the modbus reads.
