Description information:

Update V2.2.0

Key features supported by S7-1200 CPU firmware V2.2.0 include:

SCL (Structured Control Language)
Download in RUN

New modules are available:

CM 1243-2 AS-i Master
CM 1241 RS422/485
SM 1222 DQ8 RLY Changeover

Required software: STEP7 V11SP2 Basic or Professional.

Note
Communication errors might occur on very fast computers between STEP7V11 SP2 and S7‑1200 CPUs versions 1.x through 2.1 Upgrade the CPU firmware to V2.2 to correct these issues

** Note I added bold/italic/underline to some key features to firmware 2.2 and SP2 of TIA Portal V11. Also note the name of the required software. Is TIA Portal may be getting a new name.

Currently I have a cpu with firmware 2.0 and TIA allows me to add the new module ..
