I have a Pinter Shared on my network.

In my network i have 4 Scadas with this Shared Printed, but i like to Print directly with my HMI with Windows CE.

It is posible or should i Have one Printer only for my HMIs conect by USB to this devices?

Problem Solved.

Yes, You can print with a Shared Printer,

You have to set up first the printer with your HMI ( PRinter Driver Etc... )

After this you have to integrate the HMI in the network and change the printer from USB to Network \\computername\Printer NAme

MAke sure that you dont have any pass in your Shared folder mother PC

My Problem is that i have the Driver already intalled becuase if i conect the printer directly from the USB i am allow to print

Also i have the HMI well Conected to the network because if i go into the Explorer i am allow to enter to this computer and i can see the pinter...

But when i configure the printer with the network folder the HMI wants the password user and domain name....

What should i put here?

No, I dont have any Log-on on the Mother Computer...

I dont know how to solve this...

EDIT: I mean... I dont know what should i put in the user name pass and domain...

The Network have not passwords, and on the others computers i could enter to the printer computer without any problem

I put any user and pass and i think that this was not the real problem...

Because i saw in the queque of the mother pc

"remote downlevel document" during 1 second when i push print in the HMI

EDIT: MAybe it is problem of the Printer...

Because It tooks the properties from the mother PC and this can create conflict

When the printer is conected by USB the HMI Make the printer rules and the printer works fine

This Computer have pass for the shared folders...

The others XP SO dont need pass for comunicate with the Shared printer...

I solved the problem installing the printer on other computer....

I feel so dumb....
