IOT2040 communicate with a PLC using Modbus over RS485

I have connected to the X30 com.How do i check wheather the port is working .I checked using an oscilloscope but could not get any signal. Regards, Mathew ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from IOT2040, test serial communication code does not work.
