Login - Logout / Web Navigator

In the projects's main picture we are using login - logout buttons for security reasons, using the following script * Action for login (e.g. "mouse-click" event): #pragma code ("useadmin.dll") #include "PWRT_api.h" #pragma code() PWRTLogin('c'); * Action for logout (e.g. "mouse-click" event): #pragma code ("useadmin.dll") #include "PWRT_api.h" #pragma code() PWRTLogout(); Recently, we installed the Web Navigator package and when we try to publish the pitures we receive the error that I have attached you. So, the question is the following : How can we restrict the access in the servers, if we cannot use this buttons? Is there any other way or workaround? Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (122)	Hi, As you probably know, some functions aren't supported by Web Navigator, and PWRTLogin is one of them... Just as a refference: to check publishing errors you can open the PDLPad from Start -> Simatic -> WebNavigator -> PDLPad, open the published picture from the WebNavigator pictures, choose "Edit" and "Check Scripts". To prevent a certain script, or parts of it, to run under Web Navigator, you can use the ifdef run_on_webnavigator statement, as follows: #ifdef RUN_ON_WEBNAVIGATOR //lines which only run under WebNavigator #else //lines which run under runtime #endif In your case the login button's script would be: #ifdef RUN_ON_WEBNAVIGATOR // do nothing #else { #pragma code ("useadmin.dll") #include "PWRT_api.h" #pragma code() PWRTLogin('c'); } #endif And the logout button's script would be: #ifdef RUN_ON_WEBNAVIGATOR // do nothing #else { #pragma code ("useadmin.dll") #include "PWRT_api.h" #pragma code() PWRTLogout(); } #endif Best regards, Danielle
