LOGO 8 PC to LOGO connection problem

Just bought my first logo for at projekt, and i am having problems connecting the device to my PC I am getting the message that the PC and the target logo is not on the same subnet. I have changed the subnet mask on the logo from 255,255,255,000 to 255,255,000,000 but no combination seems to work. I have also changed the ip adress and default gateway so they match the numbers in my LAN IPv4 settings but i cant find af combination that works...... When i use LOGO soft fort i can see the MAC adress of the LOGO so there are som sort of connection... ????? Hope you can help...... regards Attachment Udklip.PNG (1183 Downloads)

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 12/5/2025 Posts: 36264 Rating: (4536)	The Logo has the same IP address as the PC. You must change the IP address of the Logo. The IP address is divided into 4 segments, XXX.YYY.WWW.nnn. The first 3 segments of the IP addresses of PC and Logo must be the same, but the 4th segment must be different. Change the IP address of the logo e.g. in 192.168.000.003. The subnet masks are correct.

logofan17 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have changed the IP adress, but still LOGO soft cant communicate with the LOGO unit. Same answer...... the PC and the devise are not at the same sub network...... any suggestions on what to do next........

logofan17 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Direct from PC to LOGO....... LOGO soft could see the MAC adress of the LOGO device, so there must be some sort of connection.......

If you have multiple interfaces in the PC, you can select the right here. If characters are included in the name of the interface, this also leads to problems. When trying to connect, click the icon with the blue double arrow. Then you are shown the achievable logos and their settings in the window. Attachment Test.wmv (2253 Downloads)

logofan17 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	So i finanaly managed to find the right combination of IP, MAC and default gateway adress. so now i can communicate with the LOGO Thank you very mutch for your fine and informative video ixo65..... it gave me idea about what to look for, and how to navigate the program interface with regarde to PC and LOGO LAN details.......
