i have a CNC machine & CNC monitor control is Sinumerik 840D & CNC controller in electrical tablo is Sinumerik 810D & this controller have not enough memory!

is it possible use MMC S7-400 for Sinumerik 840D or Sinumerik 810D?

 I don't understand your question--Let me guess and answer--

You have a m/c controller is Siemens 810D, the HMI is PCU20 or PCU50 ( they are all for 840D or 810D).

You need large NC memory space to save large CNC program--possible generated by CAD/CAM.

--if this is your question then my answer will be:

the best way is --

if you have PCU50 HMI, which has harddisk drive, save your large CNC program in HDD, then use function "Executed from external" to run it in Automation.

If you have PCU20, which has no HDD, but it is possible has CF card slot, so save your large CNC program to the CF card or save them to the external PC's HDD. when you want to run them, same --using  "Executed from external". attention--if you save program on HDD in PC     you also need Winpcin SW to transfer NC program during running.   

the detail will be found in "Operator's Manual for 840D/810D with PCU20"

PS: sorry,after check your picture, I see you have old MMC100.2, so the easy way to settle your problem is upgrade your MMC to MMC103--( you can find from market for used one)--or you can PM me if you cannot find any.  I will find best solution for you

NO. They are not compatible, hardware as well as software point of view.

You are mixing too many concepts.

S7-400 MMC, Sinumerik 840D/810D softwares are different.

Sinumerik 840/810 NCU works on PCMCIA card & not on MMC.

How to data loading in Sinumerik 840D/810D?

i have a back up NC & PLC programs & when i want send this data by PC IN , programming send start but CNC controller get error after about 1 minutes, then send data loding  for controller not complete

 can you post screen shot of your MMC100.2 setting at "Service"--Data IN-- and PCIN setting

what error "time out"?--and you are sure the cable is OK.?

 Check the RS232 setting at both sides are same & especially the baud rate.

 You did not show PCIN setting or V.24 setting on MMC100.2

I suggest you using WinPCIN to try 1st , as 810D/840D downloading NCK/PLC archive to controller will have some NCK reset in the sequence--PCIN will be interrupted but WINPCIN not.

if it still not working with WinPCIN, I will give your other suggestion.
