Hello I was wondering is someone can help me.  We unfortunately still have an old mill system on this version of Factory Link. I have a spare server that I need use that i restored from a backup tape, however Factory Link is complaining that it need authorized. I used to be able to go to the Siemens  website and punch in the serial number and it would give me a new authorization code to put in using the "flkeyval command.  My intent is just to have a spare on the shelf that will run if i need to connect to the mill network.

Next year this system will be re-written but in the mean time I just need a backup box that can be authorized as a spare box.

regarding all issues about licensing/recall of licenses ( if you have forgotten, damaged or lost your license)please open a service request at your Siemens support site. As far as I know you will get a new one.

I don't think it is possible to get authorizations anymore unless you have CSS contracts.

You can try to contact the WinCC Competence Center in Texas that handles the FactoryLink migrations and CSS contracts:
