Montegobay Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Can anyone walk me through the process of converting an .rdb file on a SD compact card to something useable like excel file. Or how can I just open the .rdb file to read the log files on my PC. I have Wincc Flexible 2008 but apparently don't have a clue of what I am doing. Some help point the way. 'Logs of this format can only be read or displayed using WinCC flexible Runtime' and 'Convert the RDB file to CSV format using the "CopyLog" function to make the data available for applications outside of WinCC flexible Runtime' Best regards, Wizard

I am having difficulty naming the desitnation and the sounce logs for the copylog function. I have two logs. Log_Fast (RDB format) and CSV_Log_Fast (CSV Format) I created a basic script to get started: [code]CopyLog(hmiDataLog,CSV_Log_Fast,Log_Fast,hmiOverwrite,hmiNo)[/code] The editor puts "unknown identifier" tool tip help with a sawtooth red line under the references. What am I doing wrong?
