samsam46 Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Dear friends , I have a project using S7-1200 , TIA PORTAL , Communicating PROFIBUS with DANFOSS VFD FC200 , I try from my side i have find some sample programme seems similar but i cannot execute , the issue iam very new to use PROFIBUS , i got stuck how to create the FUNCTION BLOCK ( FC1 ) using this DRIVE DANFOSS following some certain steps i download GSD FILE from danfoss website after that how do i get the ladder FC1 block , as looks simple in the attach sample programme could any one help out any sample programme for DANFOSS VFD FC200 , USING S7-1200 PLC PROGRAMME.Here is the attach PLC sample THANKS SAM

Here is what I did in a nutshell: Used the RS 485 port on the Danfoss Drive Modified version of the USS protocol on the Siemens PLC so the telegramming matches the Danfoss requirements. Connected the selected port on the S7-226 (which is now unavailable for programming etc) - it is configured during initial scan of PLC Used purple profibus cable with termination and landed the other end on the RS485 terminals of the Danfoss drives. Its been a few years since I did this. It worked reasonably well and had to tweak the protocol a bit...

I have some of the files handy .... I will see if I can post some stuff without getting into grey water... Simon
