Also, I dont think you need a dedicated CP. I/O driver with standard ethernet port on the SCADA PC will work fine. |

Hi, The FAQ “How can you establish a connection between a S7-1200 PLC and SIMATIC NET OPC?” http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/39960679(Intranet) shows how to communicate with SIMATIC NET OPC. The FAQ Flexible Decoding and Processing of Data Matrix Codes with S7-1200http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/40603943 shows how PC Access could also be used. Despite of not 100% homologate, they work with some restrictions. The tip is to program a S7-300/400 connection and gives rack=0 and slot=1. |
