SOFT STARTER 3RW44 PROBLEM

Kadhar Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello, We are using 3RW44 Soft Starter for one of our application long travel movement.we connected 8 number of motors with capacity 3.7kw. please find below the setting on the soft starter. Rated Operating Current le=62A Rated Operating torque= 171Nm Rated Operating speed=945 Starting mode= voltage ramp start voltage=50% starting time=5 sec Breakway voltage=40% stopping mode=torque control stopping time=3 sec stopping torque=40% minimum current limit=19% maximum current limit=113% Input1 Action= motor Right PS1 Input4 Action=Trip Reset Output1 Action=On time motor Output2 Action=Operation/Bypass After Start command is given from joystick, first we are energizing main contactor so that soft starter will receive 415V supply and it will work and after 4sec it will get bypassed by bypass contactor. we found soft starter got tripped by the fault "PHASE ANGLE CONTROL FAILURE" and at that time we noticed that blue phase to phase voltage becomes 0 value. So kindly request you to suggest on this issue.

Check the following. 1. Error occurs without motor starting. Cause: - Motor has not been connected correctly. - Inside delta circuit incorrectly configured. - Ground fault present. Remedy: Check and rectify wiring (see inside delta circuit wiring suggestions). 2. Error occurs during starting. Cause: - Start voltage too high - Breakaway pulse set (incorrectly): instable motor start (Only set breakaway pulse if absolutely necessary. In the case of pumps, for example ,a breakaway pulse can often cause misfiring.) If there is an idle time of < 5 s since the last start, the 3RW44 starts with a higher start voltage. In combination with a set breakaway pulse, this can lead to "Incorrect start conditions". Remedy: Adjust parameters or increase idle time
