Hi, need some help for solar panel program (attached). I need to compare temperature between solar panel PT100 (B017) and hot water tank PT100 (B001) to activate solar panel pump (Q7) only in this condition: - Temperature of solar PT100 must be 5°C higher than tank PT100 Thanks all Attachmentfra.zip (339 Downloads) |

Hello franc82, at first welcome to the forum. Attached the modified diagram. If the solar Pt temperature is 5 °C higher than the other Pt temperature, the solar pump will be switched on. If the temperature difference drops to 3 °C or less, the solar pump switched off. Attachmentfra_V2.zip (394 Downloads) |

Hi Franc82, Just now i found your post. At my home i have a simular setup, Two hot water panels and a 600 Ltr. storage tank. In my setup i found one problem .... when at night or winter. From the storage tank to the solar panel (the panel is a 1.5 Mtr higher) i have thermo sifoning, as a result i losed my heat. I used a simple solution by installing also a electrical controled valve, also because in my area in the winter from time to i have freezing tempuratures i also needed to solve this. So by a seperated output , 1st open the valve and then 2nd i start the pump this for normal control. then when the temp from the panel drops below -5 C (i use antifreez -10C) i open only the valve , the same thermo sifoning i use now to slowly warmup the panel and stop again at 0C. also i have a 3rd heating loop on my storage tank from my central heating , if required it takes the storage tank up to 50C. If you need something like this let me know and i include this in the program from IXO65 . |
