Hello adrian_botez Of course you can use the High Speed counters of CPU 314C CPU to measure Motor speed with an Inductive Sensor. You should however check the maximum switching speed of the Inductive sensor. An optical sensor may be better suited. But is there any formula to convert encoder pulses to length? |

Hello adrian_botez You Need to calculate the Length / Distance for 1 motor Revolutionfrom the Mechanical data / Gear ratio etc. Distance per Encoder Pulse = Distance per Motor Revolution / Encoder Pulses Per revolution. Total Length / Distance = Cumulative No of pulses * Distance per Encoder Pulse Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |
