Stop program by pressing a button?

How can I stop this program that I have started using another button event? Many thanks. gbs At least WinCC Flex do not have function to terminate the external program. I suppose we speak about RT ? Is that right ? Well in that case you could write another program which terminates the first one and closes itself. In that case you can start lets say terminator program with another button.

fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings In practice: 'starting programs Dim sh Set sh = CreateObject("Wscript.Shell") sh.Exec("xxx yyy") Set sh = Nothing xxx is path and name of the program (including extension, ".exe"), while yyy is directory where you want it to run (this is just optional, you don't have to use it, but sometimes comes in handy) 'stopping programs Dim sh Set sh = CreateObject("Wscript.Shell") sh.Exec("taskkill /f /IM zzz") Set sh = Nothing zzzis name of the process (use taskmanager to find the name of the process; also, include extension) Best regards

fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings Sorry, I've never worked on MP panel... I think that "Shell" is a Windows object that maybe doesn't exist on MP panel. MP runs WinCE, right? Best regards
