the LADDR input parameter of SFB47

Dragonarsty Advanced Member Joined: 5/6/2008 Last visit: 2/18/2021 Posts: 54 Rating: (1)	Dear all: SFB47 is the user program for CPU31xC in counting mode.The 'LADDR'input parameter should be submodule I/O address which have specified in "HW Config",and the data format is Hex. But I use a data no relationship with theHardware's address,the count valuealso can be read via the 'COUNTVAL' output parameter. Please see the Pic. Attachment SFB47.jpg (438 Downloads)

The reason that you can see a value at "COUNTVAL" is probably because you have another card attached to to cpu with IO startadress "0" and maybe this wil interfere SFB47??? SFB47 is a block specialy for integrated counter for the S7 31xC CPU You use this counter? How would this block has to know where he needs te look for his inputs? If you don't specify it,

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (989)	Dont be scared. I know this situation also. The 3xxC - CPU "knows" the onboard - counteradress and the SFB will work even if wrong adress setting is done. It is a little bit funny. Use the correct adress to be sure, but it also works with the wrong adress (ONLY if C - CPU)

Marcjan If you put nothing there does it still work? And what if you use the second counter? Best regards, Marcjan The counters are different channels, but the adress of counters is the very same.. (You can check in HW-Config of CPU3xxC)

But i think, it is not a real bug, the reason would be, that the CPU FW already knows the DPR adress of on - board counter. Anyway, I always use the correct adress (I hope ) just in case...
