To know the exact build of your OS, you can run the 'winver' command from the Windows start bar. If you want to completely uninstall TIA Portal, you can follow the following FAQ: How do you uninstall STEP 7 (TIA Portal) completely? Afterwards, I recommend that you check that your OS is released for the TIA Portal version and, if it is, start the installation again by right-clicking > 'Run as administrator', with a user with admin permissions on the PC. |

So that's where the problem must lie. TIA Portal V15 is not released to work on Win10Pro 20H2. To check compatibility before installing software, I recommend using this tool: Welcome to the compatibility tool At this point, you can start with a clean PC image, or try following this FAQ: How do you disable the message "Please reboot before installing any more programs"? Hope this helps. |

Just wanted to provide an update in case anyone else has similar issues and finds this thread. I opened a ticket with Siemens and they sent me the document that is attached that suggests uninstalling Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client then restarting the installation. After uninstalling SQL, the installation completed successfully. Thanks for the help and suggestion everyone! Attachmentuninstall SQL 2014_WINCCPLUSMIG2014_reboot.docx (481 Downloads) |
