i want to open my project but it says that :

"the project was created with an incompatible or beta version of wincc flexible.

it was last opened with (k 1.4.0 hf 3 (1.5.9))

...

i know that is not a special problem but i want to know what is this version and service pack and update??

which version should i have ??

now i have sp1 version , build number : k 1.3.1.0

It can open all older versions.

But if you open and save an older Version, you are not able to open this converted project with old version again any more.

One thing more:

Since WinCCflex 2008 SP3, the migration of ProTool projects is not supported any more.

i installed wincc flexible sp3 and step7 5.5 sp2

now when i open the project , it says that "missing software ... wincc flexible" !! 

while i installed wincc flexible , whats the problem? do i have to install step7 5.5 sp3 too?

Can you give us a screenshot of message and also of "Step7 installed software" window?

I recommend Installation of SP4 what is the actual SP of Step7 V5.5, but I don't believe that this is the reason for this message...

one thing , i installed wincc flexible sp3 first and then i installed step7 , doesnt matter ??

but after installing step7 and encountering this problem i ran wincc setup again and click on "Repair" but that still doesnt gonna work?

Yes its important to use the right installation order

First Step7 and then WinCC Flexible.

Its because the WinCC flexible install a integration Software into Step7 Installation. When there is no Step7 it fails an now the Integration Komponent is missing.

-> no Problem, you can install the Komponent afterwards.

Just insert WinCC flexible DVD-> then Modify-> here you can select the Integration In Step7

After Installation do the Test again.
