WinCC Unified – Simple Sample - SVG graphics

• You can find in the toolbox (right menu), division "Graphics" images in different formats, including SVG.
• It is possible to use your own SVG files: Toolbox, Graphics, click on the icon "Create link to folder" and specify the path where stay your files.
  
• In the division "Dynamic widgets" you can find customized SVG images (that means, in their proprerties);  under "Interface", you can find customized properties.

the dynamization could be done linking tag or scripts in the SVG properties. But, take in account that the "Dynamic widgets" has more features that could be dynamized as the pure SVGs.

Resurrecting an old post but it seems like the best place to put this.

I found the attached guide to Dynamic SVGs on the german forum and translated it to english using google translate.

It's not a bad starting point to understand the format without diving into the source code.

Hello Denilson, thanks for all these tutorials that you make available in the various topics! I found them very useful!

Dynamic widgets are a great tool, but I find the library provided in Tia Portal V17 a bit limited, the objects are too detailed and do not describe the elements actually mounted in the system. is it possible to have more symbolic libraries? something more generic not related to the hardware itself.

Moreover most of the "Graphic" libraries are not in SVG format; and not using the SVG format means that the image will be grainy if you change the size.

I'm having a hard time creating effective graphics after migrating old projects with the new unified system.

It is known that working or creating your own SVGHMI graphics is cumbersome (preview, test, troubleshooting, ...) and a tool is currently being worked on to improve this. Once this tool is available, a description will be published together with the tool and made available to customers.
Unfortunately, an exact date for the release cannot yet be given. Thank you very much for your patience.
