muhammad ramseen Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	In one of my new project, I’m using Wincc Comfort V12 Sp1 to program TP1500 Comfort panel. In this I need to create an instrument faceplate which has different objects with different visibility condition. But in this scenario I need to use separate tags for each object and develop logic in the plc program and looks tedious. It would be encouraging if there is any way to use single tag for whole faceplate visibility in such scenario. For instance in the attached pump pop up,the available/ trip/ startfail indications should be visible only when the respective tags (available, trip and startfail tags) are activated, even if the faceplate is visible.So please let me know if it is possible to create such pop-up with multiple visibility option (may be using scripts). neuhausj Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I had the same problem and solve it by using faceplate tags and script. If you have a simple popup faceplate + a button, you need 2 faceplates tags for the visibility: * Faceplate_Vis : visibility of the faceplate * Button_Vis : visibility of the button (= faceplate + button visibility) Then you create a faceplate script to update the Button_Vis : Update_Vis_Button Where you put the update condition for your Button_Vis [code]SmartTags("Button_Vis") = yourCondition And SmartTags("Faceplate_Vis") [/code] And you call this script when you need to update the visibility (push on a button, value change from an input parameter of your faceplate, ...). It works perfectly well on my project.

Actually, as you can see in the attached screenshot I need to display trip indication in the faceplate once the trip tag is activated, which is coming from PLC. So could you please explain how can we interface this PLC tag and Faceplate Tag, as i could'nt see this Faceplate tag in the Interface list.

You just need to replace the Button_Vis by Trip_Vis, and call the script when you have an event "Value change" on your Motor_Trip input tag. The script is then :SmartTags("Trip_Vis")=SmartTags("Motor_Trip")AndSmartTags("Faceplate_Vis") To sum up : * 2 internal faceplate tags : Faceplate_vis + Trip_Vis * 1 property tag : Motor_Trip * 1 script : update_Trip_Vis The script is called when you change the status of the faceplate (open / close) or when you change the value of the Motor_Trip (Event "ChangeValue" on Motor_Trip tag).
