In Set PG/PC Interface, Communication drivers are not found !!!

vikram.mani Posts: 8 Rating: (8)	Hello Experts !!! I am new to Siemens PLC. I am using Simatic Manager S7 V5.6 software. I made S7-400H hardware configuration and Small Logic to simulate using PLCSIM V5.8 + SP8. When i am select Options -> Set PG/PC Interface, I did not found any communication drivers inside. It is showing none. I would like to set MPI interface. In PLCSIM V5.8 + SP8 menu bar also i can't select any any interface. Kindly give a solution please. Attachment Untitled.png (2456 Downloads)

vikram.mani Posts: 8 Rating: (8)	Hi, I have tired that procedure but still i am facing the same issue. In control panel set PG/PC Interface option i cant able find any modules. I uninstalled Simatic Manger S7 V5.6 and Installed it again still facing the same issue. Kindly give a solution. Attachment Interface_Issue.png (1688 Downloads)

If the service does not exist do following: a) check if this file exist on your PC: Program Files\Common Files\Siemens\Automation\SimaticOAM\bin\s7oiehsx64.exe b) make the service by "sc" command (run command line as administrator): sc.exe create "S7DOS Help Service" binPath= "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\bin\s7oiehsx64.exe" c) run the service and change the start up mode to automatic. This only help me to solve the problem with "empty PG/PC interface" Hi, This solution i have tried. Now its working fine.

I try to create the new service "S7DOS Help Service new"( I just have service called "S7DOS Help Service") but both service are stopped and if I try to start both give error 1503. I tried command sfc/scannow, I tried to delete service...but can't start service from service of windows. Do you have a solution? Thanks EDIT: solution that seems to work is add a new dword key in the new service created called ServicePipeTimeout=18000 in decimal
