How to convert the backup psb file format to hmi format ?

samkcr Posts: 406 Rating: (3)	Hi, I am having the backup file with the format of psb.This backup is for OP170 mono.Now there is a problem in op170 so we bought new OP177A. In this case how to use the same backup ? Is it possible to convert the backup file to hmi file (wincc flexible file) ?

If you don't have the original project, you can try to make upload from OP170 mono (using Protool or WinCC Flex, depends which software has been used) and then again to migrate it in WinCC Flex to OP177B. In case if it is not possible to make upload using WInCc Flex or Protool (option "Upload" hasn't been enabled) and without original project, there hasn't any way to go easy to OP177B. The difficult way is to build new project from the beginning. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Backtransfer is different then Backup option in WinCC Flex. In your case is helpful only first oprion in order to "jump" to OP177B. The other is only to take a backup and then just to restore in to the same type of panel.

Now TP177B was discontinued product and how I can convert from psb file to pdz file and psb file is possible to use with different firm ware? Pls kindly advice.
