We use 24 Logos in the company to monitor and control the operations of various devices. The logo is a very good module with a wide range of applications, provided that only logos modules and TDE display are used. If I want to achieve more, there are always some shitty problems. Sometimes I'm tired of using the logo :( My current challenge is the combination of the logo with an external server with wincc and pc monitor. Of course, the devices do not want to communicate together. All of them are in the same subnet 192.168.0.x Configuration of 2 Logos + TDE in master mode: 1 IP 192.168.0.50 2 IP 192.168.0.55 3 TDE 192.168.0.51 All of above works fine without any troubles. Connection configuration client-server with TSAP 20.00 on both Logos. (See Picture 1 ) Now would like to connect Logo 1 with external system (means computer with Wincc 7.2 and PC monitor). I have add S7 connection with marked "Connect with an operator panel" and TSAP 02.00. Server is configured temporary to accept all connections and TSAP is 02.00. I'm not sure the external server TSAP have right value. This is question for You guys , have done it it properly or not. (See Picture 2) ...next 1. Added S7 Simatic Protocol Suite with unit logical device name as my WLAN card in computer (its temporary used WIFI connection but in future will be by cable). (See picture 3) 2. Have add TCP/IP connection with IP of Logo with whom I want to connect (means 192.168.0.50). (See Picture 4) Results of above is connection error 4110 and 410E (See Picture 5) What I am doing wrong and how to connect Logo with WinCC properly ? AttachmentPictures.zip (302 Downloads) |

ixo65 - still doesn't work. No communication. - Firewall is OFF - PING from my computer with WinCC to Logo! = 120ms - means is OK - Logo! connection config as before with NO "add data transfer information" marked (See picture 1)) - Logo! VM mapping of 3 values (Im really interested in first one) . B079 Sensor_UP , Type = Word , address = 0 (See picture 2) - WinCC Flexible connection settings: driver = S7 200 , HMI device (which is my computer local address 192.168.0.11) , PLC Device = my Logo! address = 192.168.0.50 (See picture 3) - WinCC Tag settings : Connection as previous , data type "Word" , address "0"(See Picture 4) - WinCC Screen1 , Gauge 1 settings tag = "Sens_up" signal. (See Picture 5) Results when running WinCC runtime = nothing, no connection See Picture 6 What i am doing wrong NOW ? Have I missing something ? AttachmentPictures.zip (236 Downloads) |

In LOGO! VM-Mapping is word for data format (16Bit), not for data type. |

Two days left with playing on S7 protocol. F..ck. Thanks for Your suggestions Ixo but similar settings to yours doesn't work for me. I'm really don't know a reason. Today evening trying again with Modbus and first config gives positive results. I can connect my Logo! to Wincc 7.2 by Modbus. If it can be helpful for someone, that's my settings: Logo! = OBA8 / FS4 Connection: MASTER , SERVER , port 504 to remote CLIENT witch temporary marked "Accept all connection request in server side". PORT "assigned" automatically" - needs to be configured in WinCC because there is normally port 502. Parameter VM mapping - the same as in my previous posts. Wincc 7.2 Tag Manager ---> Add New Driver ---> Modbus TCP/IP Connection parameters: CPU Type = Premium Micro , Port 504, Address of remote slave = 255 Works perfectly with "FloatToSignedWord" values (WinCC Flexible doesn't !!!!). - WINCC 7.2 connection (see photo 1) - Wincc runtime after start (see photo 2) - Logo TDE for to compare measured values (see photo 3) Again many thanks for help and best regards
