Hi guys, I have a new question according Modbus TCP. I have Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP converter. There are 5 slaves connected. As I know, in Modbus TCP slave ID number it's not relevant but in this case should be. Let's say that I have 5 RTU slaves - 10,11,12,13,14 and then I am trying to reach them by Modbus TCP, with one IP address. As I see, this converter is making a bridge and maps real slaves to virtual slaves on TCP. I don't see anywhere slave ID parameter in Modbus configuration datablock or function block. Does it mean I need to have separete IP address for each Modbus RTU slave after bridge? Could you please advise? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
