Dear experts, I have very little experience with SCALANSEs and I urgently need help. A SCALNCE 204-2LD has his Agent time configuration set to “Type Client Type – MANUAL. The events log doesn’t show the day of the records, only Cnt and N (attached).The record on the top – “Time was set manually” was initiated by me just to check the logger but actually only the seconds were changed. I need to figure out when records 2 and 3 (change in the redundancy manager) were created. How to get the day when the record was made? Do I have to change Time agent’s settings? Hello, As far as I remember, If you leave the cursor on the time in the log, you will get a tooltip at the cursor position (yellow banner) that contains the number of days. Of course the best method is to synchronise with an NTP server (network time protocol). In that case you have a correct timestamp in the log file. You could refer to a NPT serveralready present in the network, or on Internet (if the switch is allowed to get outside) You can also declare a Windows PC as an NTP server. How to proceed is told in this FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22144502 Of course you should check with the network responsible if this is allowed in your specific context. This will help for the future entries, but not of course for the entries already logged. |
