Dear Community,

during the last week of October we have introduced a new function for creating new topics. With this feature, the creation of topics will be easier for all users who are not familiar with the structure of the conferences.

The feature is integrated e.g. on the page Conference overview via the known button "New topic". Clicking the button will lead you to the following overlay:

Here, the topic creator can use a drop-down menu to select the target conference for the new question or leave the assignment to the moderator. These unassigned topics are visible for the topic creator, experts and moderators.
This will give the author the chance to get a reply before moderators have done the assignment to the conferences.

So, if you are not sure where to publish your next question feel free to use this new functionality.

This is an interesting idea.

Please consider reviewing the text used in the popup message. The word regarding is spelt without the 't'. Consider the following:

suggestion

Create a new topic

Select the conference that best suit the technical background of your question:
[ Please select                                                        v ]


You are not sure which conference to select:
[  ]  The moderators should make the assignment
