what s7-connection are you using? specified or unspecified? if unspecified try to 'point' to the PLC. Is your GET block showing an error code? perhaps this this article helps. |

Hello RAS1J, the easiest way (i think) to configure a connection between your PLC1 to PLC2 is the use of the open communication blocks in PLC1 and AG_SEND/AG_RCV in PLC2 via TCP. Informations therefore you find in FAQs like For PLC1: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/29737950 For PLC2:http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/22385024 Or is a s7 connection necessary? Then of course, you use the PUT/GET blocks. Do you get an error code while data transmitting? Greetings, Pittiplatsch |

Hello RAS1J, my last post described a PLC -> CP communication. in PLC1 (CPU317) you insert open communication blocks. in PLC2 (CP343) you configure an unspecified TCP connection (to IP address of CPU317) and insert AG_SEND/AG_RECV in you user program. If one station is in another network, you must configure a gateway in the cpu/CP. CPU317andCP343 are in different networks? Is there a router between them? Or a firewall? Do you configure the RACK/SLOT (TSAP) in the unspecified s7 connection? Have a look here http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/22790314 Can you post a screenshot from the configuration of the s7 connection? Greetings, Pittiplatsch |
