Dear Victorious, In my Sample Program, I have created Function & Data block apart from Blocked Library Blocks. You are not required to understand logic inside Blocked/Protected Library Blocks especially when you are doing third party communication. For understanding the mapping Concept, you need to have basic understanding of Modbus Function Codes. Please go through in details with below all important document first of all. After that try to co-relate Excel File Modbus address starting with 40001 with FC & DB in above example. Hope this helps. Modbus General Description |

Hi Amit_86, thanks for your fast reply. You were right, I hadn't installed the required software properly. I now installed the required software to see the parameter settings. The only problem is that I can't check the parameters since I haven't got my slave dongle yet, therefor the configurable loadable driver isn't installed on my PC. I'm pretty sure once that's done I will be able to see all parameters....Sothanks for helping!!! By the way, if anyone has problems with the installation of the software on a 64bit system(for example: error message "system has already been modified") make sure you get the correct version (64bit compatible). Keep it simple and on-topic. |

Hi, I have quesstion about Modbus Slave communication. I look at your example and config my module like your (i need to receive data to DB800) and when monitor the FB80 i see that CP_START_Error = 1 Error_NR =0002 and i have no communikation. I attach my CP parametr. And when i try to test communication with ModScan there is response to 1-st and 2-nd function (responce with rerror) but for 3-rd and 4-rd function is no responce at all. Hello TblMb, I think you inserted a wrong LADDR when calling FB80 - just compare it with the one in HW-Config. Regards, Kaulquappe |

Hello Johnny, after storing the parameterization in HW-Config you must load it. It is not possible to simulate CPs with PLCSIM. Regards, Kaulquappe |
