Hello, the Patch Panels (PP) are also redundancy-able and have configured ring ports? Flashing RM-LED means: Ring is broken...so.. Is RM also flashing after changing sw2.3 with new one? Hello, sorry if i wasnt clear in my words :) , the problem is : as u know in my scalance SW X204-2 the connection of ring in ports 5 & 6 of FO and ports 1,2,3 and 4 for ethernet cables,so SW2.3 has port 6 connected with port 5 in next SW2.4 as so on to all two rings. this link between SW2.3 & SW2.4 are not connected because thier LED's are not flashing , the problem happend before and i changed a switch to fix that problem and after 5 days i found other link disconnected the same so i need to know thats problem with my network ? and how to fix this problem ? by the way i sent to u event log of SW2.3 Thanks in advance. Hello Mr.Fafner the problem is why there is link in my ring not working and there port 6 (FO) not send any data to the next switch in ring ??? whats the problem in that port ? and how to fix it ? you can see the discussion from first maybe it can help also . thanks for concern MrFafner:) Regards, Ahmed Hassan.
