This is my first time using RFID in my project and I would like some help.

Here is what I have:

CPU319-3 PN/DP

IM 154-1 DP

RF 170C

RF310R

using STEP 7 v5.5

After several hours of searching I came to the conclusion that I need to use FB45 (which from my understanding cannot be downloaded anymore). Most examples use TIA portal, which i do not have. Also i do not have any software that supposedly should come with the RFID system.

What other blocks can I use? and where can i get them?

I download and i try to use the Ident FB on my project.

But I'm not able to download the FB on the PLC (The block/op. sys. update is too large.).

I have a 315-2EH13-0AB0.

I already use other type of moby with the FB45, but now we have the RF290R with ASM456 and I'm not able to configure the parameter of FB45.

I always get the error code 15 active.

In some manuals is explain that ASM456 works with FB45, but i don't now if i have an old version of FB45.

It's possible to find the latest version of FB45 for the RFID?
