faaezz Regular Member Joined: 11/19/2005 Last visit: 6/24/2025 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, i'm trying to convert a very old wincc 4.2(on win 95!!) to 6.2 but i have a big dubt: in tag manager i have a MTSW device/protocoll and the costumer had used sub-channel MPI, but in System Parameter nothing appears, than, what is MTSW ? Thank for everybody can help me

And for the last, who i can select S7 protocol in Simatic S7 Protocol Suite ? Sorry for the "stupid" question, but i'd not used offten Wincc RT

April Posts: 1776 Rating: (95)	Hi, what you see on the right side are connections. But are there also tags in the connections? Upgrade from V4.x to V6.2 is not direct possible. You have to migrate from V4.x to V5.1 and from V5.1 to V6.2.

Also, there are a connections with FM356-4 with Mpi, but seems not work, it's because i'm use for testing a Pc-Adapter Mpi connect on Cpu ? Attachment progr.JPG (541 Downloads)

I'd discovered that "MTSW" it's a Mouser Factory propretary protocol, only they have a new relase for newest Wincc PLC.Newbie Dear Faaezz, this problem same with me, i want to migrate from wincc 4.02 to v7.3, and also i have found the tag like this DB101,DW2400,HA62,UA2,Index1,Typ2.
