migrate from S5 to S7 is it possible?

vperezb Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm trying to migrate from S5 to S7, but I haven't got the STEP 5 software so I can't prepare the program previous to the migration. My migrated program result in a 16502 lines AWL, and 65 errors. Errores: - Block does not exist. - Invalid operator. - Command not defined. Do you think I will be able to migrate successfully the program or have you got a better idea? Thank you very much. Regards, vperezb

I suggest you read the this Manual first. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1118413 If you are stillstuck, please upload your S5 Program and I can have a look. Regards /m.f.g
