burnandreturn Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	I upgraded to V8 of Logo software. Installed v6.x of the usb cable drivers. Opened a previously made circuit V7.1 in V8 and like and *** I saved it. Went to download from laptop to logo oba6 and cannot get a connection. I select the usb option and when I click test nothing happens. Not sure what to do?

philverh Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Besides selecting the USB cable option, you also need to select the correct COMx port. On my machine the good port is the COM5 one, whereas the one selected by default is COM1. Try the other ports.

Normally it was com8 I get no such dialog now. Where or what do I need to do to get to the port selection? Thank you for your help. It has been a long day trying to get the programs uploaded.

burnandreturn Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	I deleted the Logo 8 software and all other versions of the software and the usb drivers. I reinstalled V6.1 from the CD and then tried to comunicate with the Logo's with no luck. Then I upgraded to version 7.1.5 and tried that way. No luck. I downloaded the 32 bit version and also no luck. My laptop has Win 7 64 bit operating system. Tried the 64 bit version of 7.1.5 no luck. uninstalled eveything again and downloaded and installed the 32 bit vesion of 7.1.5. No good. I have no clue what to do now.

burnandreturn Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Thank you all for your help! I still have not got any positive results. I demounted the 0BA6 and brought it to my office. I get the same result with the Logo connected to my Office PC. I think it must be a driver problem. There is a small indicator light on the box containing the circuit board in the USB cable. That light does not light. When I plug the USB cable into the PC I get the normal beep that the PC "see's" the cable. When I go to file>properties>logo usb cable in the drop down menu to the right there is only the gigabite network connection. Nothing else is listed. Attachment driver loaded.JPG (454 Downloads)
