BW500 Error

AutoGen_564002 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I had an new Siemens belt scale system with 3 MSI, speed sensor WS300. Belt rate: 120 t/h design speed: 1.2 m/s BW500: 7MH7152-2AA00-2EA-Z Y77 The system working fine two day after installation before error. The problem as follow: When system is running, the display of BW500 fault, the speed, belt load, total is pause. (its remain value and not change for along time), and not working, some keypad still working ( Alt Disp, par,1,2..0, up, down). It only working again when i turn off and on power supply for the BW500. I don't know what's problem and how to resolve it. I had installation many Siemens belt scale system and never had problem. Anyone please help!

Levelmans Posts: 124 Rating: (45)	Hello , sounds strange. Is there a error code displayed ? I guess, this could be a contact conflict of the speed sensor. If the WS300 is not working, the BW500 will not calculate anymore. Please check the cable of the WS 300, it could be that this is grazed from the belt etc. Hope this helps ! Cheers

The wiring of the speed sensor is very carefully, but I will check it again. when error occur the Speed value =1.101 m/s (equal the last time value when it pause) ; the belt load =22.05 kg/m (equal the last time value when it pause) and total 1225.4 t/h (equal the last time value when it pause) and it's remain value while belt still running and material feeding, it's only working normally when turn off and on power supply . I thinks if speed sensor signal disconnected the speed value will go to 0 m/s and feed rate 0 t/h. Any other ideal please advice me.

It looks as though this unit is in a range which is under a factory noted failure. Please contact the returned goods department for a full warranty covered unit. Sorry for the inconvenience.
