Hello Every one,

     I Have one S7-417 H system running in our plant. we have used two CP 443-1 advanced (6GK7 443-1GX20-0XE0) in Rack 0 and same two CP in Rack 1. In rack 0 & 1 , each CP used one Ethernet port only out of 4 port. One CP is used for communicating with HMI and another CP in same rack is used for communicating with SCADA.

In another system, I have one S7-414 H system running in our plant. we have used one CP 443-1 (6GK7 443-1EX11-0XE0) for Rack 0 and same CP in Rack 1. As this CP have only one Ethernet port which is used to communicate with SCADA.

I have one CP443-1 (6GK7 443-1EX20-0XE0) spare.

if one of the CP from S7-417 H Rack or S7-414 H rack will fail then can I replace with spare CP443-1 (6GK7 443-1EX20-0XE0)....?? If yes then can redundancy between two CPU will Work..???
