IMS-SARL Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello all, Has anyone already implemented a ModBus TCP between LOGO!8 FS4 as server and a "client" (Actally, a PC running ModBus Doctor) ? That seems to be not very complicated, but after many tests, I can make nothing. The communication is always in "Time Out" Have you the ModBus mapping of the LOGO!8 FS4 ? Is any document or tutorial available explaining the configuration ? Many thanks in advance. Didier

IMS-SARL Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Yes, Thanks, but there is nothing very useful about ModBus TCP communication. Now, I'm able to read Digital Inputs but I cannot read or write Digital Outputs. I need the mapping table of the address of each variable type. Have a nice evening. Didier

kzsolt2 Posts: 60 Rating: (0)	But be careful. If you migrate network project to FS4 device or create new network project with FS4 device, then you need (forced) to save to .mnp extension! The reason is the modbus connection. For diagram mode you can use .lsc files for FS2, FS3 and FS4 device. Furthermore, if you use online setting and/or functions with 8.1, then many times need to run a “determine logo” function first. If not, then many online function not bring up result window or run to java exception.
