 For the V90 servo controller , how to communicate and control it use simotion D?

In S71500 , we can use FB284 though PROFINET to control the V90,

So  in SIMOTION use which system function ? Or is that possible  to make an Tochnology "Axis" to assign to the V90 and then use the normal system funciton (enableaxis(),pos()....)?

Dear Winterwang,

In order to do positioning with a V90 PN + SIMOTION D, it's necessary to implement the Technology Object corresponding to a "Positioning Axis" that will allow us to use Motion Control instructions.

In addition, it's important to know that it would only work with GSD (not with HSP-Hardware Support Package-), and that the selected telegram has to be without Dynamic Servo Control (DSC), e.g. Telegram 102.

Yes.

From an axis standpoint, SIMOTION does not care what drive it connects to.  However, since no DSC, position performance is limited compared to S120.
