please convince your customer staying on the actual firmware.

Up and downgrade is described in the Masterdrives VC compendium section 7.3.

After a FW changing, the communication interfaces are set to default.

At least carry out the power part definition and if needed detailed parameterisation. See section 6 in the compendium.

Before doing anything, do parameter saving one time complete and one time only the changed parameters to the default settings.

By the way, if the power part is the same, the CUVC card from the old inverter can be plugged into the new one.
